In Speakeasy, players are owners of those illegal bars seeking to take control over Manhattan alcohol production and trade, throwing big parties with jazz bands to increase the value of the consume, and controlling the authorities to keep their business running during this period that took place between 1920 to 1933.
Speakeasy uses a system of upgrades and takeovers driven by cards. The actions in the game go from associating with mobsters and upgrading speakeasies, to producing and delivering their own barrels of booze.
