Since the beginning of the times, humanity had a permanent search for discovery and technology. Their genius made them stand out from the other animals. Their inventions become the base of their civilizations. The hominid, the first humanlike species, emerges. By virtue of humanity’s nature as a toolmaker, humans have therefore been technologists from the beginning.
Inventions follow those discoveries, humanity’s greatest inventions and places that power in the hands of the players to make its own the best developed civilization of all times.
Inventions uses dated cards to simulate those inventions through time. Those cards bring ideas that must be developed. Then it can be used by the inventor of the civilization or shared with all others. Once developed, the invention increases the power, economy or science of the civilizations to make it stronger. If shared, it boosts its power even more by allowing them to be used by the other civilizations. Players leverage point to point movement on a board which is a world map containing dynamically changing worker placement locations.
The player with the Strongest Civilization wins the game. The strongest Civilization is decided by Invention Points. IPs.
